Strong underlayer film manufactured from 100% virgin raw materials. Using Underlayer Silage Film will minimise silage waste. This Underlayer Silage Film is a thinner and more flexible material that allows it to “cling” to the surface to avoid air pockets. It sits directly beneath the silage cover and produces better quality silage with less waste. It seals out any of the air and it stops the top layer of silage from going off so you have no wastage. When you open the pit, the top layer of silage is perfect and no labour is involved in cleaning off spoiled silage. It provides a high oxygen barrier; the cling seal layer prevents air pockets. It reduces silage waste on the surface & shoulders of the pit.
It can be used with Standard Black Covers or Bodyguard/Hermetix Covers.
