Fence and earth lead set is suitable to use for the following energizers: A10, S17 and B20. This can be used as a replacement set if either of the wires needed to be replaced. Easy to connect to the fence and an earth stake it has been manufactured with UV stabilised plastic. Fully galvanised the earth lead makes the final connection to an earth electrode. An electric fence is installed as an open circuit starting at the fence energiser. The current is carried by the fence wire and when an animal touches the wire, the current flows through the animal down to the ground and returns to the energiser. For the animal to feel an effective shock the earth system must be efficient enough to allow an unrestricted flow back to the energiser. Electric fencing sends a sharp but safe shock to the animals to prevent them from breaking out or being disturbed by neighbouring animals. Manufactured from UV stabilised plastic, they are strong, robust and are fully galvanised.
