Envy 3L is a post-emergence herbicide specifically designed for controlling various weeds in grassland areas. It targets weeds such as docks, buttercups, dandelions, daisies, thistles, and chickweed. Envy stands out as one of the few products suitable for use on newly sown leys, making it versatile and effective in multiple applications.
Envy is recommended for use in three key areas:
-Low-input grassland grazed by horses or cattle: Envy effectively controls buttercups, dandelions, and other perennial weeds in paddocks and low-productivity grassland where horses or cattle graze. It helps maintain a weed-free and productive grazing environment.
-Chickweed control: Envy can be used as a replacement for straight fluroxypyr in controlling chickweed. It is particularly effective in cooler conditions and can be applied at lower rates. It is best to use Envy before chickweed starts to flower.
-Weed control in new sown leys: Envy provides an excellent solution for weed control in newly sown leys. It can be applied at any time between 1st February and 30th November at a rate of 1.5 litres per hectare.
Envy has a short stock exclusion period of just 7 days, allowing animals to graze the treated areas relatively quickly. Additionally, Envy does not pose herbicide residue concerns in manure, which is crucial in equine situations where manure is collected and used on gardens or allotments.
Each pack of Envy 3L treats an area of 3.7 acres at a rate of 2.0 litres per hectare. It provides sufficient coverage for effective weed control in the specified area.
