Glanbia Co-operative Society Feed & Fertiliser Bonus 2017

Glanbia Co-op has this week paid out €1.2m in 2017 Feed and Fertilizer Bonuses. This was the €10 Co-op Feed bonus on purchases made between Sept 18th and year end (and up to Jan 27th of this year in the case of Beef and Sheep feed)

• This brings the total 2017 Glanbia Co-op bonuses paid to date to €5.7m (including grain).
• Where the shareholder has provided bank account details, a payment of €10 per tonne of feed purchased from September 18th 2017, and a payment of €7 per tonne of fertiliser purchased in November & December has been transferred into their nominated bank account.
• If the Co-op member has not provided bank account details to the Society, payment will be credited to their Agri-business customer account.
• A letter with individual details will arrive with Co-op shareholders on Friday.
• Co-op bonuses for the January to October period were paid last December.

2017 Glanbia Co-op bonus summary

• €7 per tonne of qualifying fertilizer purchased during the 2017 financial year;
• €7 per tonne of all qualifying feed purchased up to September 17th 2017;
• €10 per tonne of all qualifying feed purchased from September 18th 2017 to the end of 2017 financial year;
• €10 per tonne of qualifying beef and sheep feed purchased from the start of the 2018 financial year to January 27th 2018.

Glanbia Ireland bonus payments

• Glanbia Ireland paid a €14 per tonne bonus on dairy feed purchased between 18 September and 31 December – this was paid in December milk accounts.
• Glanbia Ireland paid a €10 bonus for beef feed purchases made in the period Sept 18th 2017 to Jan 27th 2018.
• This was credited to Agri accounts in February.
