Animal Health Ireland and Teagasc are set to host a Calf Care Farm event on the farm of Alan Reid, Co Westmeath on the 8th January at 11am.
Points to be discussed on the day will include:

- Will you require extra space?
- Have you considered temporary housing, if required?

Healthy, well reared calves are saleable calves.
- So how do you ensure your calves will attract a buyer?
- A list of requirements to assist dairy farmers preparing calves for sale will be discussed.
