Use this well-liked carrot variety to grow your own carrots at home. This variety produces the first juicy, sweet carrots of the summer. Ideal with your first pick of peas. The long, stumped roots have a fantastic colour and texture. Sow in even rows from February to July. Thinnings are delicious cooked as finger carrots or raw in salads. Harvest from May to October. This plant's aroma naturally repels carrot flies.
