Tirlán to survey Co-op members on representative structure

Co-op Dairy

Tirlán is engaged in a review to improve our Co-op representative structure for the future. Link to survey will follow from “Co-opSurvey” via text & “Tirlan Co-Op Research ([email protected])” via email this week.

As part of this analysis, our Co-op will be issuing a communication via text or email with a link to the online survey to shareholders whose contact details are on the Co-op database. There is also an option for shareholders to forward the survey to family members that are not Co-op members – sons or daughters for example.

The purpose of the short survey is to capture views on the representative structure of your Co-Op (Committees, Council and Board), the diversity within the structure and ultimately to assist with potential future development and planning.

We would also like to hear the views of any of your family members who work full time on your farm but who are not shareholders in their own right. There is a section at the end of the survey where you should indicate if you want a survey sent separately to them.

Tirlán has engaged the independent, Irish research company Behaviour & Attitudes to gather this information independently and anonymously on its behalf.

All responses are voluntary and will be held in the strictest of confidence — they will be added together with hundreds of other respondents as a statistical report and will not be related back to any individual respondent.

In order to confirm to shareholders that the survey is genuine, a text message will issue from the regular Tirlán text message service as follows:

Our Co-op Tirlan is running a survey to capture your views on improving our representative structure. More info: bit.ly/3rb1EBO

If any shareholder does not receive the survey and would like to participate, please contact the Co-op Shares Office on 058-44444 and update your contact details.
