Our network of Agribusiness Branches will continue to operate under the ‘Call & Collect’ service

Glanbia Ireland’s Agribusiness Branches are operating as ‘Call and Collect’ to protect vital services for our farming community. It is vitally important that everyone follows our procedures to allow us continue to provide essential products to our customers.

The Government will introduce Level 5 restrictions countrywide from midnight Wednesday 21st October for 6 weeks. Our Agribusiness branches are an essential service and will remain open however, we ask our farming customers to continue to use our ‘Call & Collect’ service as there will be no entry into the shop area. In addition, we have taken the decision to temporarily suspend our garden centre services across our 14 CountryLife locations. Our online Click & Reserve service will also be temporarily suspended, all requests must be phoned into your local branch. This is to protect our valued customers and staff.

We are asking you to work with us as we revert to this operating model to help protect our important services for all our customers,” said Glanbia Ireland’s Chief Agribusiness Growth Officer, Sean Molloy.

As part of ongoing efforts to contain Covid-19, for the next 6 weeks, customers will be asked to place their orders from branches in advance by phone.

This call and collect measure is in relation to orders that would usually have been made in person by customers calling to our branches.

However, customers should please use their usual ordering channels, including:

• All orders can be placed through our business managers over the phone and our Customer Services Centre (CSC) service via 1890 321 321.
• Our products are also available online via glanbiaconnect.com and countrylife.ie
• If you need assistance in setting up your Glanbia Connect account to facilitate online ordering, please call 1890 100 017.

Our full range of farm-related products are available through this service.

At our branches, our team will work hard to ensure that our customers will continue to get the same high levels of service. However, we will ask for your patience as it will require orders to be made in advance over the phone and picked up from the branch.

The system will operate as follows:

• Please phone your branch in advance with your number (See contact list below).
• Payment will be taken on account or processed over the phone.
• Store staff will bring the goods to the car / trailer or a dedicated point in the store yard.
• Please wear a facemask, roll down window, confirm identity and order number.
• Customer should stay in vehicle until staff have left the pick-up point area.

We will continue to review the move to the call and collect system on an ongoing basis.

Deliveries/Milk Collection – Important Notice

If you, a member of your family or farm staff are experiencing symptoms potentially linked to Coronavirus, please call the HSE on 1850 241 850, follow the advice on www.hse.ie and contact your family Doctor.

Please also inform your local GI advisor by phone or contact the Customer Service Centre (CSC) at 1890 321 321 immediately in the unfortunate instance that a member of the farm household or farm staff is in self-isolation or has a confirmed case of Coronavirus (Covid-19).

This will allow Glanbia Ireland implement a set of appropriate measures to continue to collect milk from, or deliver to, the farm.
