Stapler 2,4-D 10L is a soluble concentrate herbicide that contains 500g/L of 2,4-D as the dimethylamine salt. It is primarily used for the control of broad-leaved weeds in various types of grassland, including agricultural grassland, amenity grassland, managed amenity turf, and cereals. 

The recommended application rate for grassland is typically between 2.8 to 3.3 litres per hectare, depending on the weed species present. A higher rate of 3.3 litres per hectare is suggested for controlling Ragwort. It is important to refer to the label for specific recommended rates based on the target weeds.

Stapler is also recommended for use in amenity grassland and managed amenity turf, as well as in cereals, where it helps control key weed species.

One notable feature of Stapler is that it possesses a non-acetolactate synthase (ALS) mode of action. This is significant in managing herbicide resistance because it provides an alternative mechanism for weed control. By using herbicides with different modes of action, the development of herbicide-resistant weed populations can be minimized.
