New 30c/kg Autumn Angus Beef Bonus

A new 30c/kg off-season bonus has been announced by Certified Irish Angus.

The bonus will be applicable to Angus cattle killed from Monday 7th October to Friday 15th November. Cattle must be pre-booked through the Certified Irish Angus farmer portal at certifiedirishangus.ie.

Qualifying steers and heifers must achieve carcass weights from 260-380kgs and be resident on farm for 90 days. Angus animals must grade from a O= to a U+ with a fat score from 2+ to 4+. This bonus is in addition to the Quality Assurance (QA) bonus.

The closing date for applications is the 20th of September.
