Calling all primary school teachers and students! Join us for World School Milk Day.
World School Milk Day is held all over the world on the last Wednesday of September every year to celebrate the benefits and success of school milk programmes.
From the comforts of your classroom, join the National Dairy Council (NDC) and AgriAware virtually as they take you and your students on a journey of where the milk you consume, be it in your cereal or tea is produced, processed and available for you to buy in a shop near you.
The virtual event will be streamed from Milk Supplier Henry and Enda Walsh’s dairy farm in Oranmore, Co Galway. The Walsh’s are delighted to show students what a typical day looks like for dairy farmers in Ireland, and answer questions during a live Q&A session.
Join the team this Wednesday from 9:45am via Zoom to learn all about Irish dairy. Register via the Zoom link here.
